Vicky Velocity! Directing!

I cannot even express how excited I am to start the directing process on Vicky Velocity and the Star Strikers. Vicky is a ten minute short play written for Dobama Theatre's Marilyn Bianchi Kids Playwrighting Festival. It's so cool to be directing on the Dobama stage, especially since I've spent the past 7 months assisting and working backstage. I'm also really excited to be working with some child actors and the playwright (who is also a teenager). Kids are so funny and organic on stage, and working with them is always a huge joy.
